"Roma and Como have been linked with a possible move for former Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto.
The 32-year-old was a product of the Blaugrana academy and has come all the way up the ranks, being part of the first team since 2013. After playing 245 matches in the Spanish Primera Division and 62 in the Champions League, Roberto's contract expired on June 30 and he became a free agent.
According to Calciomercato, Sergi has been on the radar of Roma, who have spent a lot of money in recent weeks following the arrival of Artem Dovbyk from Girona and Matthias Sule from Juventus. Serie A newcomer Como is also interested in Roberto's services.
