Ukrainian midfielder of Spanish side Girona Viktor Tsygankov has missed the next test match of his team as part of the pre-season preparation. The 26-year-old was not included in the application form of the Catalans for yesterday's sparring with Italian Napoli (2:0).
This is the fifth control match of the summer off-season, which "Girona" held without Tsygankov.
Recall, the Ukrainian is in the final stage of recovery from a thigh muscle injury, which he received a month and a half ago - during the starting match of the national team of Ukraine at Euro 2024, against Romania (June 17). According to the Spanish media, Tsygankov will start training next week on an individual program, but is likely to miss the start of the season.
