Famous Ukrainian TV commentator Igor Tsyganik told what he expects from the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League between Dynamo Kyiv and Scottish Rangers, which will take place today in Lublin.
"Considering how Kyivians played against Partizan (9:2) in the previous round of qualification, I have a lot of faith that they will be able to pass the Scottish barrier.
"Dynamo" have already booked their place in the group stage of the Europa League, and now the competition for the Champions League is underway, for big money in the playoff round and group stage.
If we talk about "Rangers" in general, this team is coached by Philippe Clement, the coach is quite experienced, successfully worked in "Bruges" and "Monaco". But there are no stars in the team. Kyiv are now in very good shape, so I hope that they can realize their potential against the Scots.
In the first match, which will be held in Lublin, Poland, I believe in Dynamo's advantage. I think that Kyivians will control the ball more, will own the initiative, will not allow their opponents to realize their opportunities.
