Former Dynamo and Ukraine national team player Serhiy Mizin shared his expectations for today's first Champions League qualifying round match between Kyiv and Scottish Glasgow Rangers in Lublin, Poland.
- In the 1987-1988 season, Dynamo lost to Glasgow Rangers in the European Champions Cup after two matches. So the current generation of players of the Kyiv club has a chance to take revenge. And today they will make a significant contribution to this victory, scoring two goals against the Scots, and not conceding a single one.
I really want Andriy Yarmolenko not to leave the field without a goal again. Changes in the starting lineup of Kyiv will be minimal compared to the matches with Partizan. I am convinced that those impressive victories over the Serbs will give Dynamo's players confidence and inspiration. And Kyiv has always had a good attitude," Mizin said.
