German defender Mats Hummels has spoken to Brighton's new coach Fabian Hürzeler about his possible move to the English champions, Sky TV reports.
The 31-year-old took over Brighton this summer after leading St. Paul's to the Bundesliga last campaign. Hummels' 35-year-old contract with Borussia Dortmund expired in June.
Earlier, Mats was offered by Italian side Bologna, but the 2014 World Cup champion did not want to play in the Italian Serie A, DPA reports.
