Last Tuesday, August 6, in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, Dynamo Kyiv drew with Scottish Rangers 1-1. Here is the post-match press conference of the Ukrainian team's head coach Oleksandr Shovkovsky.

- Of course, we are disappointed that we missed out on the victory in the last minute of the match. At the same time, we realized that the fate of our confrontation would be decided in Glasgow. We played only the first half. The team will be preparing for the second half through the Ukrainian league match we will play on August 9.

- The last minutes of the game were played with the visitors' advantage, why did Dynamo give the initiative to the opponent?

- Two teams were playing football, one trying to keep the result, relying on quick counterattacks. And we had opportunities for this, especially since the main threat was from the opponent's flank attacks. We had to act more confidently in certain moments of the match, but we made mistakes. We will watch the video and analyze it. The lack of matches of such a high level is definitely a negative lesson for us.

- Rangers will not play the return leg at their home stadium, can this factor help your team?

- I don't think so, because no matter what stadium the game is played at, most fans will support your team. Of course, support plays a big role, and I want to thank all the fans who came to support our team today and did their best to make us feel almost at home.

- Do you plan to play a different style of football in the opening match of the Ukrainian championship against Veres or will you model the game you will show in the return leg against Rangers?

- I haven't thought about it yet, but I can say that we will definitely have some rotation in the lineup. Especially since the trip to Rivne will take us a lot of time - about eight hours there and back.
