"I hope that in the return match against Dynamo the roof of the stadium will come off from the support of our fans," - Rangers h

Head coach of Scottish Rangers Philip Clement summarized the results of his team's first match against Dynamo Kyiv (1:1) in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, which took place yesterday in Lublin.

"I think that at the stage we are at, given our transition period, today we took a step forward and achieved a really important result.

In the first half, we lost the ball too easily and Dynamo got the opportunity to counterattack, and this team is deadly in this component, they act very quickly and with high quality. In the second half we looked much better than before the break. We were more calm with the ball and controlled more space.

"Dynamo" is a really good team, they have been playing together for four or five years, so a lot of teamwork is automatic. In this respect, I was satisfied with the way our team reacted in certain situations.

Dessers' goal in the last minute of the match? He was unlucky several times before that, the Dynamo goalkeeper had several good saves. After all, we are talking about the goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team. And in general Dynamo is a team with a lot of strong sides.

Before the return match with Dynamo we will have a game in the championship. I don`t know if Dynamo will have such a game. Before today's match our rival didn't have a game in the championship, but you saw that it was hard for them physically at the end of the meeting. That's why I am very curious, will Dynamo play this weekend? Probably not, but we will do our job in our own way.

I also hope that in the return match the support of our fans will be so strong that the roof of the stadium will come off," Clement was quoted as saying by the official Rangers website.
