Ukrainian defender of London Arsenal Oleksandr Zinchenko has changed his game number. If earlier the 27-year-old footballer played under the number 35, now on his shirt will be the number "17".
"Number 17 is a very special number for me. It was the number I wore on my jersey as a young player. I always asked for this number in the Ukraine national team as well.
Since number 17 was vacant after Cedric Soares left, I asked if I could have it. Thank you to everyone at the club for meeting my needs.
It is also very important to say that everyone who bought my shirt of the new collection for the season 2024/25, can exchange it for the one with the new number", - this is how Zinchenko explained his decision in a comment to the official Arsenal website.
