The director of Sumy's Victoria, Gennadiy Tkalenko, commented on the postponement of the team's match against Dinaz in the opening round of the first league due to the hours-long air raid in Sumy region.
- "On Monday we received permission from the military administration to hold the match, everything was fine. The next games - the cup and the 2nd round of the championship - we play away, and we will watch there. If everything goes well with the alarms, we will play in Sumy, if not, we will make the appropriate decisions.
Last year, maybe three games in total were stopped, but there were no alarms. In my memory, only one game lasted too long. I don't know what will happen this season yet. If there had been some understanding earlier, then maybe we would have postponed this game right away. But until yesterday, when the alarm started, everything was fine, we played friendly games, and now it's such an unpleasant situation," Tkalenko said.
