Former Ukraine and Kryvbas striker Ivan Getsko has made a prediction for the first UEFA Europa League qualifying match between Kryvbas and Victoria from the Czech Republic to be held on August 8 in the Slovak city of Kosice:
"The interest in today's confrontation is fueled by the fact that the teams with a fighting spirit will be settling their relations. Therefore, we can expect a fight for the ball in Kosice on every piece of the football field.
The fact that Victoria defeated Kryvbas at the winter training camp should not be a concern. Because a sparring match and a European Cup match are a huge difference. I am more concerned that Victoria has much more experience in matches of this rank. We can only hope that the manager of the Ukrainian club, Yuriy Vernydub, has taken into account every detail in his preparations and that the nominal hosts will demonstrate not only maximum concentration but also tactical flexibility.
As for me, a draw for Kryvbas will be a good achievement, and the winner of the ticket to the next round will still be decided in a second leg in the Czech Republic," said Getsko.
