Minus 20 players. "Chornomorets set a unique anti-record

This summer, however, the club set an absolute record: for the first time in its history, the number of players who left the team reached the 20 mark.This happened after two leading players, Andriy Shtohryn and Volodymyr Salyuk, left Chornomorets shortly before the start of the 2024/25 season to join Naftchi Baku and Metalist 1925 Kharkiv, respectively.

In addition to Shtogrin and Salyuk, goalkeepers Danylo Varakuta and Oleh Bilyk, and field players Ilya Putria, Maksym Bragaru, Orest Kuzyk, Bohdan Boychuk, Danylo Holub, Ilya Ukhan, and Mykyta Sytnikov left Chornomorets this summer, Vladyslav Shapoval, Vladyslav Ogirya, Samson Iede, Artur Avagimyan, Fabricio Alvarenga, Jose Gomez, Zigi Badibanga, Luka Huchek and Yevhen Danyliuk, who did not play a single match for the Seafarers last season.

The previous record for the number of personnel losses was set by Chornomorets four years ago, when 18 players left the team at the end of the 2019/20 season.
