"We are not satisfied with the result we got today. As for the game: we looked good, we faced a good opponent who regularly plays in European competitions.
We scored a good goal in the first half. I don't remember any chances near our goal before the break, but in the second half, the first 15 minutes let us down. A 16-year-old Victoria player scored a good goal, but I want to say that before that, in my opinion, there was a foul on Tverdokhlib. The referee didn't see it, so it wasn't there.
The second goal - we did not expect it at all. Our central defender slipped, and the opponents made a quick attack and scored again. After that, Kryvbas started playing football again. And there were great moments - a crossbar, a one-on-one. But we did not take advantage of it.
We have a 1-2 record. But we lost only the first match. In Pilsen we will have a fight. I know my team, my guys - we will drink more blood, we will not give up just like that. In my opinion, the chances are still 50-50, and time will tell.
The team has already felt what the European Cups are like, that we need to go out and play a little differently. Yes, the opponent is strong, but you also need to behave like a fighter. After being pushed and falling down, you always have to get up and run on. We didn't do that today. But Victoria played in such a way that it was felt that they had played many matches in European competitions. But it's okay, we will learn from our mistakes and draw the appropriate conclusions. I think we will come to Pilsen a little different," Vernydub said.
