Well-known manager and expert Vyacheslav Zakhovailo shared his impressions of the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League between Kryvorizh Kryvbas and Czech Victoria (1:2), which took place yesterday in Kosice.
"For the first time I watched Kryvbas. I have respect for the work of Yuriy Vernidub. The first half did not disappoint me. "Kryvbas" played compact with defensive actions in the zones, as a result, "Victoria" made zero strikes to the goal of the Ukrainians. Deserved 1:0 in the first half.
The second half forced Pilsen to play more active, which turned the game around. "Kryvbas" made a mistake on a touch, the opponent's interception, and a sixteen-year-old boy with the surname Panos launched a rocket of nine points. Slight panic in the next 20 minutes from Kryvbas. They sprinkled on a flat spot, and as a result, a triple error in defense and 1:2. For the whole game, Victoria had two shots on goal, and scored two goals!!!!!
It should be a shame, but in the European Cup such a minute relaxation is not forgiven. I know Victoria's style of play well, and all the players' capabilities.
