On Friday, August 9, Dynamo will play its first match of the new Ukrainian league season. The Kyiv team will play away to Veres. Before the game, we take a look at the top scorers in the matchup for both teams.

Among the current players of our team, Nazar Voloshyn scored the most goals for Veres. He scored twice: in the second-round match of the season before last, when Dynamo won 3-0, and in the second-round match of last season, when Dynamo lost in Rivne in the last minute of the match (1-1 draw).
Denys Popov, Oleksandr Tymchyk, Volodymyr Shepelev, Andriy Yarmolenko and Matviy Ponomarenko each scored one goal for Veres.

Marko Mrvalevych scored a goal for Veres against Dynamo in the current Rivne team. His goal in stoppage time brought the team a 1-1 draw in last season's match in Rivne. Prior to that, Veres last scored against Dynamo in the 2017/2018 season, and since then the team's lineup has completely changed.
