Defender and captain of Poltava "Vorskla" Igor Perduta commented on the start of his team in the championship of Ukraine season-2024/25. In the first round Poltava team lost big to Shakhtar Donetsk - 0:5, but then rehabilitated in the duel with Left Bank - 3:0.
- Which Vorskla is the real one? The one that loses to Shakhtar 0:5 at home, or the one that beats Left Bank 3:0 away?
- There is no real Vorskla yet. This is just the beginning of the Ukrainian championship. I hope that soon there will be a real "Vorskla".

- Everyone understands the strength of Shakhtar. They are the champions of Ukraine, everyone knows it. Of course, the score 0:5 is quite heavy, it hurts our ego.
As for our victory over Left Bank, I believe that they are a good team. They have only recently joined the elite division. I think that they have a competent head coach, and the team has some great performers. They have their best ahead of them.
- There are a lot of questions from players of different teams about the condition of the lawn at the stadium "Vorskla"....
- Everything that the players said earlier is true. So far we have a bad lawn. If we compare it with the lawn at the stadium "Left Bank", then Kyiv have a lawn of the Champions League level. Our managers say that in two-three weeks our pitch at the stadium "Vorskla" will be much better. For our style of play such a lawn is uncomfortable. We want our fans to support us.
