Vorskla defender Ihor Perduta talks about the team's performance at the start of the new Ukrainian league season.

"There is no real Vorskla yet. This is just the beginning of the Ukrainian championship. I hope that soon there will be a real Vorskla. Everyone understands the strength of Shakhtar. They are the champions of Ukraine, everyone knows that. Of course, the score 0-5 is quite heavy, it hurts our pride.
The match against Left Bank was tough, they are a good team. They have recently joined the elite division. They have a competent head coach, and the team has great players. They have the best ahead of them. Only when we scored the third goal did we calm down. With the score 2-0, everything was quite difficult. If we had conceded one goal, everything could have turned out differently.
We still have a bad pitch. Compared to the lawn at the Left Bank Stadium, Kyiv's is a Champions League level. Our managers say that in two or three weeks our pitch at Vorskla Stadium will be much better. For our style of play, such a pitch is uncomfortable," said Perduta.
