Former Shakhtar midfielder Thomas Hübschmann, who played for Czech side Jablonec in recent years, has announced the end of his professional career.
"The years at Jablonec have run away like water, we have had great times, played twice in the main draw of European competitions, reached the top three several times, and played in several Czech Cup finals. It was a good period, but time cannot be stopped. Now I face a new challenge: I will pass on my experience to young players so that they can build a successful and long career," Hubschman was quoted as saying by Yablonets' official website.
It is known that now Hübschmann plans to work as a football agent, combining this with his work in the sports department of Jabłonec.
