Hajduk's head coach Gennaro Gattuso is putting things in order in the Croatian team and continues to apply disciplinary measures in the locker room.
The 46-year-old specialist did not count on Perisic in the match of the 2nd round of the championship against Lokomotiv Zagreb. According to the local newspaper direktno, the Italian coach suspended Ivan from the first team for disciplinary reasons.
A week earlier, Gattuso fined Emir Sahiti for being late, and the player did not go to the return leg of the Conference League qualifier against HB Torsgavna.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of 2024, Perišić returned to Hajduk after 17 years of playing abroad.
