Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola praised newcomer Savinho for his debut in the FA Cup match against Manchester United (1-1, penalties 7-6).
"He entered the game well. He can play on both flanks. On the left, he has incredible quality and can attack one-on-one. He also has great wing serves. He will help Holland score goals.
I ask my wingers to attack the opponent, to load the flanks, they have to do it. It doesn't matter if you're not effective, but you have to do it. He did it very well for the 35 minutes he played," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the City press service.
The 20-year-old Savio, who joined the Citizens from Troyes, came on in the 63rd minute instead of Jeremy Doc.
