Obolon's head coach Valeriy Ivashchenko commented on the crushing defeat of Rukh in the 2nd round of the Ukrainian championship.
"We'll figure out in which aspect we 'slipped' and see, but what we saw at first glance were childish mistakes. We can say that we made them ourselves. And a team like Rukh does not forgive such moments. So these are our mistakes. We will analyze them and sort them out.
Of course, it's unpleasant to lose with such a score, but the guys tried, the game was dynamic in the first half. We watched the penalty somewhere - it was more of a penalty than not. Of course, there are emotions somewhere. But it's nothing. There are days like this, when something goes in our favor.
"Rukh is a good team, well done, they won, I congratulate them. But it's still only the 2nd round, so it's okay, we'll correct these mistakes and move on," Ivashchenko' s words are quoted by Obolon's official website.
