Argentine striker Julian Alvarez has officially transferred from Manchester City to Atletico Madrid, the Madrid club's press service reports.
"The Matriarchs paid €75 million for the transfer, and the English champion can potentially receive another €20 million in bonuses. The parties signed a six-year contract.
"Atletico announced Alvarez's transfer with a meme depicting Spider-Man in a club shirt. This is a nod to Alvarez's nickname "Spider-Man", which he received for often celebrating goals by wearing a superhero mask during his time at River Plate.
