The future of the famous Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny remains uncertain.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus no longer counts on the 32-year-old goalkeeper. He did not even show up at the club's training base to start preparing for the season. Earlier, Szczęsny was close to joining Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr, but the deal eventually fell through.
Szczęsny has only one year left on his contract with Juventus, but his salary is 6.5 million euros. To avoid paying this amount, the Turin club offered him the option of terminating his contract, to which he reportedly gave his preliminary consent. Moreover, Szczęsny is even considering retiring from professional football altogether.
