Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde spoke about the absence of Toni Kroos from the Madrid team at the start of the new season.
"It's a bit strange to start the new season without him. Some of my teammates spent even more time with him than I did. He was always there to help, to make you stronger and improve our game. But life goes on, and I will try to be a worthy successor by wearing his number," Valverde was quoted as saying by AS.
