AFU operation in Kursk region forces Russian Premier League club to move its home matches to another city

The AFU operation in Kursk Region has already affected Russian soccer. The home matches of Voronezh's Fakel, a representative of the Russian Premier League, may be moved to another city.

According to Russian TV commentator Roman Gutzeit, the possibility of such a development is already being discussed at the moment.

"Due to the difficult situation in the region, the question of where Fakel will play the Russian Cup match on August 15 and where it will play against Spartak in the championship (August 18, - ed.) is really being discussed now. "There is a possibility that Fakel will not play at home in the near future, as a ban on events in the Voronezh region may be imposed at all," Gutzeit said on the YouTube channel "Comment.Show".
