"Russian soccer is in free fall. How much we are moving downwards is unclear," - RPL club footballer

Pari Nizhny Novgorod midfielder Alexander Troshechkin outlined the current realities of Russian soccer.

"It's a very difficult question, how much in theory our clubs are now ready to compete with European clubs. We are detached now, we don't know our level at all.

Russian soccer is in free fall. It is unclear how much we are moving downwards. It will be clear when we are allowed to participate in international competitions. Friendly matches with our top teams - Zenit, CSKA and so on - are not an indicator", - quotes Troshechkin "Championship".

We would like to remind you that immediately after Russia's attack on Ukraine, Russian clubs and national teams were expelled from all international competitions and thus have been in complete isolation for almost three years now.

Упав альпініст в тріщіну. Через три хвилини друзі його питають: "Ти не забився?" А він ледь чутно: "Ще не знаю ..." )
