Lviv Karpaty central defender Vladyslav Babohlo commented on the match against Dynamo (1-3) in the 3rd round of the Ukrainian championship.
- This system of passing the captain's armband - how do the players perceive it?
- Good. I think that each of us is not afraid to take responsibility, so this is probably a new idea for us. But I think it's a good idea.
- But do we need to prove ourselves in a good way during the week before the game or do we need to get a fine somewhere to get this responsibility tag?
- I doubt that you need to be fined, but I don't know how this choice is made among the coaching staff. So this is not a question for me.
- Karpaty definitely didn't get scared of Dynamo today, they put up a fight. But did they play for points?
- You know, with each game, I think our team is adding in terms of the game. Therefore, if somewhere in the previous rounds we had a result, but somewhere was not the right game, then today, probably, somewhere it was already similar to what the coaching staff requires from us. But unfortunately, there was no result.
- Is it good or bad for Karpaty to have two home games against European Cup teams at once ? Perhaps a break was needed between such strong rivals?
- We take it as just a calendar. I think our game does not change depending on who we play. Moreover, the coaching staff requires us to play in our own way, not to adapt to the opponent.
- What did Vladyslav Viktorovych say in the locker room?
- Nothing. He said that we still have to work, work and work a lot. I think we will be fine.
