Ademola Lookman was not included in Atalanta's squad for the Serie A match against Lecce on Matchday 1 amid reports that he wants to join PSG.
On Sunday morning, rumors surfaced that PSG had contacted Lukman's entourage and expressed their interest. Despite the fact that Atalanta did not receive any offer, it was enough for the Nigerian to ask not to be called up for Monday's game.
This leaves the "goddess" with only two strikers, Mateo Retegui and Charles De Ketelaere, for the opening match in the championship, as Gianluca Scamacca and Nicolo Zagnolo are injured.
It will be recalled that Atalanta acquired Lukman from RB Leipzig in 2022 for €9.35 million plus bonuses.
