"Aston Villa has extended its contract with Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, the English club announced on social media.
This time, the World Cup champion is signed until the summer of 2029.
"Aston Villa first signed Martinez in the summer of 2020 as part of a transfer from Arsenal worth about 17 million euros. He has played 160 matches for Birmingham, who defeated West Ham 2-1 in the first round of the English Championship of the new season.
Martinez also played 45 matches for the Argentine national team, with which he won the World Cup in Qatar.
