Maresca confirms that Sterling and Chilwell are no longer part of the Chelsea project

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has said that winger Raheem Sterling and left-back Ben Chilwell may be looking for a new club.

"I spoke with Raheem before the game against Manchester City and told him that it would be difficult for him to get playing minutes. As for Chilwell, I said he's a great guy, but because of his position it will be difficult. I'm not saying Sterling is a bad player, but I prefer a different type of winger.

For now, they remain Chelsea players. But it is impossible to give everyone playing time. Let them leave," the Chelsea press service quoted Maresca as saying.
