Dynamo midfielder Mykola Shaparenko commented on the team's defeat by Salzburg in the first match of the Champions League qualifying playoffs (0:2) on MEGOGO.

- Mykola, Dynamo attacked, had good chances, but Salzburg managed to win. Why is that?
- We had a lot of chances, and in such a game we deserved one goal. We didn't realize our chances, and Salzburg did. That's all. The Austrians defended well, their defenders blocked our shots. Again, we failed to realize our chances. We will wait for the return match and try to rehabilitate ourselves.
- To what extent did the quick penalty at the beginning of the second half spoil all the plans?
- During the break, the coaching staff pointed out our mistakes, and in the second half we played better, but then there was an accident with the penalty - this is football, it happens. It was 0-2, although we had chances to win back.
- Are you satisfied with the team's overall performance today?
- I think our team played very well today, we had a good start, we could have scored. And in the second half, too. It was an interesting game, but unfortunately, we lost. The players came on the field and really played, not just did a number, played for the emblem. We gave our all to get a decent result.
