- Mr. Yevhen, will all of today's UPL matches take place due to the massive shelling and prolonged air raid?

- The start time of the match between LNZ and Karpaty has been postponed. Unfortunately, we live under martial law and have to take into account all the threats posed by our sick neighbors. We are not able to control the duration of the air raids, but we are ready for any development. In the meantime, we can only keep our fingers crossed for our defenders.

- What is the procedure during the alert?

- It is spelled out in a special document posted on the UHHRU website: "Additional security measures for the organization and holding of football matches in Ukraine under martial law". It contains Section III - Measures in case of an air raid alert.

If the duration of the air alert exceeds 60 minutes, the match delegate together with the referee (after consultation with the teams' representatives and a representative of the relevant regional/city military administration) may decide to terminate the match on that day.

In this case, the organizer of the competition decides on the place, date and time of the match.

If it is possible to continue the game after the end of the air raid, the players' warm-up may last up to 15 minutes.

If the decision is made to postpone the football match to another day, the match organizer informs the spectators through the notification system about the decision and announces the ticket refund mechanism.

- Tell us a little bit about the new feature of UPL TV, which has introduced new channels exclusively for such matches that do not end on time.

- In fact, additional sub-channels have appeared from the very beginning of UPL TV's existence. Unfortunately, a cable linear TV channel cannot broadcast several matches at the same time. If the program is shifted due to an air raid, the cable TV channel will broadcast live only the next match scheduled for the day.

And the interrupted or postponed match that has been moved in the schedule can be watched live on OTT platforms that support the broadcast of additional sub-channels. To do this, you need to go to the selected OTT platform and find UPL TV Sub1 / Sub2 / Sub3 / Sub4 channels in the appropriate section or click on the banner of the corresponding match.
