Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko answered questions from media representatives before the Champions League qualifying round playoff match against Salzburg Austria, which will take place tomorrow in Salzburg.
Volodymyr Brazhko- First of all, I would like to thank our defenders and air defense forces who are protecting Ukraine, because tonight and this morning there was a massive shelling of our country, many cities and villages were left without electricity. We must not forget that the terrorist country continues to launch its missiles and drones to kill our people, children and women. Our entire team is with Ukraine in our thoughts.
- How have today's events affected you personally, your partners and the mood of the team in general?
- When we are abroad, everyone follows the news, because the guys have families, children, and parents in Ukraine, so we are very worried. In particular, my grandparents are in Zaporizhzhia, so I always ask them how they are, what they have heard, etc. To be honest, I feel bad when I read such news without being in Ukraine.
- After the first match, experts agreed that the result could have been completely different. Do you feel that you can beat this opponent and move on?
- We didn't score in the key moments of the first match, and they realized their opportunities, so the score was 2-0 in their favor. But we had good opportunities, and I hope we will have them tomorrow. We need to realize them to win this match, play as well as possible and move on.
