Oleksandriya striker Oleksandr Filippov scored his first hat-trick in the 2024/25 season in a 4-3 win over Shakhtar.
In doing so, he became the third Black-and-Yellow-Green player after Stanislav Kulish and Serhiy Starenkyi to score a hat-trick in the UPL, and the third player after Oleh Yashchuk and Andriy Totovytskyi to hit the Pitmen's goal three times in a match.
Meanwhile, Filippov performed his premiere "hat trick" at the age of 31 years and 306 days. At a more "respectable" age, only 5 strikers scored 3 goals in the Ukrainian championships.
