Head coach of Greek Olympiacos Jose Luis Mendilibar, summarizing the results of the Greek championship match with Kallithea (2:1), said a few words about the Ukrainian newcomer of his team Roman Yaremchuk, who in this meeting marked his debut goal for the Red-Whites.
"Two goals as a result of two transfer acquisitions is a plus of the match, especially the goal of Yaremchuk, who came on as a substitute. But in general, it doesn't matter who exactly scores goals - newcomers or players who have been in our team for a long time: the main thing is that we have those who fulfill this task.
In the same way, everyone needs to improve all the time. Including, of course, the newcomers. For example, Yaremchuk needs to improve his physical condition, as he joined us late during the pre-season training. But for sure this goal will help him psychologically," Mendilibar is quoted by the Olympiacos official website.
