Former Karpaty and Zakarpattia player Mykhailo Kopolovets made a prediction for the second leg of the Conference Football League playoffs between Betis and Kryvbas.
- Unfortunately, the reality is that it is very difficult for Ukrainian clubs to be visible in European competitions. This applies to both the personnel policy of inviting high-quality legionnaires and logistical issues, when our representatives have to play abroad all the time due to Russian aggression. So the ambitious Dynamo had to retire early in the Champions League, Polissia failed in the Conference League, and today Kryvbas will not escape elimination from this tournament.
In my opinion, with the exception of Shakhtar and to a lesser extent Dynamo, other Ukrainian teams see participation in European competitions as an opportunity to gain international experience and a chance to "shine" their players. The most recent example is the case of Kryvbas' attacking leader Prince Adu, who performed well in recent Europa League matches against Viktoria, and the Pilsen team promptly resolved the issue of acquiring the Ghanaian legionnaire.
As for today's match, I think that the teams will not play in optimal lineups. Nevertheless, Betis has a comfortable two-goal lead after the first match, and the difference in class is noticeable. Moreover, on September 1, Betis will meet Real Madrid in La Liga, and Kryvbas will play Shakhtar in the UPL. Therefore, I am inclined to believe that the opponents will not act with maximum effort and Sevilla will again celebrate a 2-0 victory," the expert is sure.
