Following the results of this week's European Cup matches, Ukraine has worsened its position in the UEFA coefficient table.
Last Tuesday, Dynamo Kyiv drew with Austrian Salzburg (1:1) in the return playoff match of the Champions League qualification round, and yesterday Kryvyirogorsk Kryvbas lost to Spanish Betis (0:3) in the Europa League qualification.
As a result, Ukraine dropped from 20th to 21st place in the UEFA coefficient table, passing Serbia.
The key position in this part of the table is the 15th position: countries that occupy positions 1 to 15 in the table, inclusive, delegate two representatives to the Champions League, not one.
Recall that the final table of UEFA coefficients this season will determine the representation of countries in the European cups of the season-2026/27. At the same time, in the season-2025/26 Ukraine will be represented in the Champions League by one team for the first time in many years.
