Vasyl Kardash: "The current level of Dynamo gives reason to hope that the team will qualify for the Europa League play-offs"

Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Vasyl Kardash has confidently told what he expects from the performance of his former team in the main stage of the Europa League, the draw for which took place yesterday.

"Now a lot will depend on how the teams will be ready functionally. After all, the same Dynamo players will have to perform on several "fronts" at the club level, add to this the matches in the national team of Ukraine. It should be taken into account that some difficulties with recovery may arise due to logistical problems.

That's why participants with a long bench will have an advantage, because they will have to play with maximum effort not only in European competitions, but also in the domestic arena. Therefore, perhaps, it was appropriate during the summer transfer window to strengthen 1-2 more newcomers, first of all, to strengthen the attack.

Still, I am convinced that the head of Kyiv team Oleksandr Shovkovskiy will take into account every trifle during the preparation and Dynamo players will approach the decisive matches fully armed. In my opinion, there will be no passing matches in the group, where Dynamo players got to. There are representatives of the top championships, the rest of them - with considerable international experience. However, the level of preparation that the Kyivians have been showing lately gives reason to hope that they will make it to the next round", - said Kardash.
