Raheem Sterling, Chelsea and England winger, has joined Arsenal. The player joined the Gunners on loan for the 2024/2025 season.
The 29-year-old Englishman joined Chelsea in 2022 and has a valid contract with the Gunners until 2027. At one time, the Londoners paid Manchester City €56 million for Rahim.
Also this summer, Enzo Maresca replaced Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea's head coach. Sterling spent the entire summer training of the Blues under the guidance of the Italian specialist. The winger was unexpectedly left out of the squad for the first round of the English Premier League in the 2024/2025 season. Sterling's number seven was also taken away from him and given to the team's newcomer, Pedro Neto.
"Arsenal became the fourth club in England for Sterling. The winger began his professional career at Liverpool, but later moved to Manchester City and then Chelsea.
