Dynamo U-19 striker Vladyslav Gerich scored a hat-trick in a home match against Cherkasy LNZ. After the game, in which Dynamo won with a 10-0 score, he commented on the events on the field.
- Of course, it's nice to win with such a big score, I'm happy that I scored. I would not say that the game with LNZ was difficult. We played our football, fulfilled the coach's instructions, but I think we could have played even better.
- Dynamo made more than 30 shots on the opponent's goal, does this happen very often?
- Yes, indeed, not often. But you saw that the opponent allowed us to play like this, we controlled the ball well, quickly moved from defense to attack, did not allow them to create anything near our goal and realized the chances we had. But once again, we could have scored much more.
- Last season, Dynamo also confidently defeated LNZ both at home and away, so can this opponent be called a "convenient" one for you?
- I can't say that we expected such a course of events on the field, because every opponent is very serious about Dynamo, so we never relax before such matches. No matter who the opponent is, we go out on the field and do our job.
- It seemed that today everything was fine with the realization. Are you satisfied with it?
- Yes, the realization was good, but, again, we could have scored even more.
- Tell us, how did you manage to score three times?
- It was mostly a set piece. I was just in the place where the ball was delivered, that's all. It's not often that I manage to score three goals, but today I did it (smiles). In general, this is not a very common phenomenon in football. Of course, I am very pleased that I managed to score a hat-trick today, but I could have scored more.
- Which of your three goals did you like the most?
- The last one, when I was given a pass, I beat the opponent and shot into the far corner.
- What are your plans for the near future, given the pause associated with national team matches?
- Those players who are not going to the national teams will have two days off, and then we will continue to work at the same pace. We will also have a sparring session at the end of the week.
