During a rocket attack by Russian terrorists on Kharkiv on September 1, the city's Sports Palace, one of the best in Ukraine, was destroyed.
The sports facility was hit four times. It is likely beyond repair.
"The operation to clear the rubble in the sports complex, where one of the missile hits took place, is ongoing. There may still be people under the rubble, so search and rescue operations continue. One man who works there as an electrician was trapped in the rubble. He is now safe. At least 6 arrivals were recorded near the sports complex, some of which hit the ground," commented Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
