Ukraine's youth national team arrives in Switzerland for training camp and friendly matches

On September 2, the youth national team of Ukraine (players born in 2006) begins a training camp in Switzerland with an evening training session, during which they will play two sparring matches with local peers.

Dmytro Mykhailenko's wards will live in the Zurich suburb of Regensdorf, and friendly matches will be held on September 6 and 9 in the town of Ville at the Sportpark Bergholz field (games start at 19:30 and 15:00 Kyiv time, respectively).

The composition of the youth national team of Ukraine U-18/19

Goalkeepers: Vyacheslav Surkis (Dynamo), Markiyan Bakus (Rukh).

Defenders: Oleksandr Havrylenko (Śląsk, Poland), Vladyslav Zakharchenko, Maksym Korobov, Denys Dykyi (all - Dynamo), Daniel Vernattus, Yegor Abramov (both - Metalist), Vladyslav Shershen (Kolos), Danylo Garazha (Oleksandriya).

Midfielders: Maksym Len (Fortuna, Germany), Fedir Babak (Paderborn, Germany), Kyrylo Osypenko, Danylo Ishchenko (both Dynamo), Artem Husol (Kolos), Viktor Tsukanov, Vasyl Bundash (both Shakhtar), Vladyslav Kalyn (Chornomorets), Hennadii Synchuk (Metalist).

Forwards: Artem Stepanov (Bayer Leverkusen, Germany), Christian Shevchenko (Watford, England), Ruslan Vydysh (Ghent, Belgium), Vitaliy Lobko (Dynamo, Ukraine).

Reserve: Nazar Makarenko (Oleksandriya), Danylo Denysenko (Kolos), David Bilyi, Matviy Ponomarenko (both Dynamo), Kyrylo Digtyar, Danylo Kaidalov (both Metalist).

It will be recalled that this team is preparing for the Euro 2025 U-19 qualifiers. According to the results of the draw of the first stage of the competition, it was in Group 1 along with the Netherlands, Slovenia and Kazakhstan. The mini-tournament will take place in the Netherlands, and the matches will take place on November 13, 16 and 19.
