Artem Kravets, advisor to Dynamo's president, explained why many young players get "lost" on the way to the first team.
- "I have experienced this firsthand and understand what the problematic issues are. Let's take a child who got into Dynamo's academy. Then this promising boy goes to the U-19 team. Many young men think that this automatically works for the first team. But the most important and difficult step is to get into the first team.
The guys get some money and stop somewhere in their development. This is a psychological moment that we need to work on with each young man. Explain that if you stop developing, there will be no Dynamo first team. We need to convey that you cannot lower your standards, but, on the contrary, work, work and work.
This is the only way out, and no one guarantees that you will succeed. Many children realize this too late. I think that psychology is one of the main problems of transition from children's and youth to adult football," said Kravets.
