Former Watford striker Troy Deeney has criticized the defensive abilities of Arsenal London's Ukrainian international Oleksandr Zinchenko.
"It takes a certain skill set to move into midfield and I think Zinchenko is great at that, but he's not a very good defender. He's almost terrible to be completely honest.
Zinchenko's actions in one of the episodes of the match with Brighton (1:1, 3rd round of the championship of England - ed.) almost led to the defeat of Arsenal, the team was saved by Raya's save.
Zinchenko is an incredibly talented footballer, I just don't think he's a defender. He probably needs to operate in midfield with someone behind him in defense," Deeney told the Seaman Says podcast.
