Ihor Surkis, Oleksandr Shovkovsky and Vitaliy Buyalsky congratulated Hryhoriy Surkis on his 75th birthday on behalf of Dynamo

On behalf of Dynamo Kyiv, Ihor Surkis, the president of the club, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, the head coach, and Vitaliy Buyalskyi, the team's captain, congratulated UEFA honorary member Hryhoriy Surkis on his 75th birthday.

Dear Hryhorii Mykhailovych!

On the occasion of your anniversary, please accept my sincere congratulations on behalf of all Dynamo fans!

For many years you have been faithfully serving Ukrainian and European football. You are a fundamental figure in the development, formation and progress of Dynamo Kyiv and all of Ukrainian football, as you have played and continue to play an extremely important role in it. Your name is written in big letters in the modern history of the number one game in independent Ukraine.

You have also done an invaluable amount for the national team of Ukraine, as you have always managed to achieve the most ambitious goals and conquer the most difficult peaks. And as the president of FC Dynamo, you managed to bring the club to the highest level. Its formation in the 90s would not have been possible without your direct involvement.

As the head of the FFU and UEFA Vice President, you not only helped to manage European football, but also continued to care about Ukrainian football, successfully promoting it and defending its interests in Europe and the world.

Fans will always be grateful to you for the unforgettable event and incredible emotions they experienced when Ukraine was granted the right to host a large-scale sporting event called Euro 2012. This was made possible thanks to your efficient work and professionalism, and this event was indeed the greatest success in the history of national football.

Unfortunately, during the full-scale war, football in our country has faded into the background, but it continues to be a unifying factor and a source of positive emotions not only for ordinary fans, but also for our soldiers and defenders. Your high level of professionalism and wise decisions have repeatedly helped us achieve success and win resounding victories. Ukrainian football will continue to need your invaluable professional and life experience.

We are proud that you are a true Dynamo player, and the letter "D" is engraved in your heart.

On this day, we sincerely wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, inexhaustible energy, as well as new victories and achievements. We wish you success in all your endeavors, and most importantly, a speedy end to the war against the Russian aggressors and a return to a peaceful, normal and safe life.

Sincerely yours

Ihor SURKIS, President of FC Dynamo Kyiv

Oleksandr SHOVKOVSKYI, head coach

Vitaliy BUYALSKY, team captain
