Liverpool hopes to agree on a new contract with Mohamed Salah by January 2025, the Liverpool Echo reports.
According to the source, Liverpool's new technical director Richard Hughes will start working on a new contract with Mohamed Salah after the international break in September. The club is determined to sign a new agreement by the end of this year, as Mohamed Salah will be able to negotiate with other clubs starting in January 2025.
Mohamed Salah recently said that this season could be his last in a Liverpool shirt.
It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah's current agreement with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025.
