Oleksandr Kadenko, President of the Professional Football League, commented on the decision of Khust's management to stop playing in the Ukrainian Premier League.
- "Khust proved to be inconsistent. Even after being relegated to the second league at the end of last season, the Transcarpathians were going to withdraw from the competition under the auspices of the PFL. They even granted their players free agent status.
When Druzhba dropped out and it became possible for Khust to return to the first league, the townspeople assured me that there would be no problems with their participation. And here is such an embarrassment at the start of the season.
I'm waiting for an official letter from FC Khust, then the Central Council of the PFL will decide to withdraw the Transcarpathians from the tournament.
Of course, this will create certain problems in determining the participants of the second stage of the first league championship, because now there will be one less team in Group A, but I think we will find a way out of this situation, - Kadenko said.
