Liverpool striker Luis Diaz commented on the words of his teammate Mohamed Salah that the current season could be his last in the Merseyside club's shirt.
- "It would be difficult for us and, of course, it would hit the team. Mohamed still has a year to think things through, but it's a difficult period. Salah always gives his best.
It's his decision and we respect it, but I hope he doesn't leave the team," said Luis Diaz.
Earlier it was reported that Liverpool bosses will start negotiations with Salah to extend his contract. His current deal with the club expires in the summer of 2025.
