Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente has commented on Real Madrid forward Vinicius Júnior's remarks calling for the 2030 World Cup to be taken away from Spain because of racism in the country.
"Spain is not a racist country. Spain is an example of coexistence, of respect, of integration. Our country is an example that many should look up to. Yes, there are undesirable situations, but Spain, and I insist, is not a racist country. The World Cup in Spain, Morocco and Portugal will be a unique event. It will be a success," De la Fuente was quoted as saying by El Desmarque.
