Igor Leonov takes charge of the Kazakh club

Ihor Leonov, a 56-year-old Ukrainian specialist, has become the new head coach of Aktobe in Kazakhstan, according to the club's official Instagram.

After finishing his career as a footballer in 2001, Leonov worked in the selection service of Shakhtar Donetsk and then took charge of the Pitmen's third team. Leonov's coaching career continued with Ilichevets (then Mariupol), Kyiv's Arsenal, Minai, and Vinnytsia's Niva. Until now, he has worked with young people at the Aktobe football center.
