The 29-year-old footballer was called up to the Luxembourg national team for the September Nations League matches and played on September 5 against Northern Ireland (0:2). However, after that Rodriguez was dismissed from the national team and left its location before the match with Belarus (0:1), which took place last Sunday. After this meeting, Luxembourg head coach Luc Holtz expectedly had to explain the situation to journalists.
